Rev. Alicia Velez Stewart is an Ordained Elder in in the United Methodist Church. Rev. A has been the pastor of the Weston United Methodist Church in Weston, MA since 2021 and chaplain at Camp Aldersgate in N. Scituate, RI since 2017. She is passionate about social justice as an expression of her humanity and her faith.

Rev. Alicia grew up in southeastern Massachusetts and her husband, Bryan, is a native of the South Shore. They both enjoy exploring outdoors and traveling. The Stewart family loves camping, bike riding, and caring for the small zoo they have at home.
Rev. Alicia earned a BA from Suffolk University in Government and her M.Div. from Boston University's School of Theology. Her work as a faith leader in her community includes leading theological discussions and studies on LGBTQIA+ inclusion and creating gender-affirming sacred spaces, speaking and leading panel discussions related to BIPOC concerns including the work of peacemaking and justice, active support of the Black Lives Matter movement, active participation and development of faith based movements around gender equity and antisexism intiatives, as well as involvement in other ecumenical and interfaith collaborations and dialogues.

In addition to her current professional roles as chaplain and pastor, Rev. Alicia is the creator/contributor of the "Momologian" podcast, chair of the Commonwealth East District Committee on Superintendency, and a member of the New England Annual Conference's Board of Ordained Ministry.
