About Pastor Pat

Pastor Pat_edited.jpg

Pastor Pat grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, and is a third generation Methodist, having been involved in church since her grandmother brought her as a toddler. As a “PK,” she is the daughter of retired pastor Rev. Ruth Oduor and retired Conference Secretary Ralph Oduor. She has three adult daughters: Jessica, Angela and Rebecca.

Pastor Pat has musical talents including singing, playing the piano and loves all kinds of music, especially classic rock, heavy metal, contemporary Christian and classical. She has a deep appreciation for nature, enjoying outdoor activities such as gardening, walking on the beach and hiking. You can experience her appreciation for music, nature and Scripture on her TikTok channel, @pastorpat_

Her commitment to social justice is evident through her leadership in providing housing for an Afghan refugee family for two years during their resettlement in the United States. She organized an ecumenical group of volunteers to support the parents and their six children as the family learned English and navigated American culture. Pastor Pat is dedicated to sharing God's word and extending God's love to all through her various gifts as a local pastor. Her passion for ministry and community engagement continues to guide her work and outreach efforts.

Pastor Pat graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and worked in FinTech for twenty-five years. As a bi-vocational pastor, she juggles a full-time job while pastoring. She answered her calling to the ministry in 2016 and served at the East Saugus United Methodist Church for six years from 2019-2025.
